so, our 2nd team ride last sunday started off with with high hopes... we were all feeling great, the weather was nice and it was good to be out and about. Even the start of the ride was enjoyable with the team sticking together as we rode along...
then everything changed...
we faced hills, stairs, more hills... more stairs... a bridge which some would question its stability and may have brought a particular team captain to tears... a puncture with no pump to fix it... and an alternative ride back which ended up being longer, harder and had absolutely no shade whatsoever.... and did i mention the extreme heat???
yes, it was not the best of mornings but it was still heaps of fun and a great effort made by all!!

finally biciAMICI are back from 'eating/drinking/dancing/sleeping/holidaying/shopping/and more eating' their way through the silly season and are back on their bikes!! Our first official training session happened on Sunday and we had such a great day for it! The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and they hay fever was in full swing!
We are pleased to say we have a few new members joining the team and even had a person on trail who after they rode with the fabulous people that we are at biciAMICI, they were ready to sign up!!
Our first ride this year was a oldie but a goodie ride along the Eastern Freeway... and who could forget the dreaded hills before you get to springvale road!!
all in all it was a great morning and an awesome start to our training sessions.
