MS is the most common disease of the central nervous system and affects more than 21,000 Australians.
MS is a disabling disease for which there is no cure at present.
MS damages the central nervous system in many different locations which means the symptoms of MS are varied and unpredictable. However I don't plan on having this disease for long so join me and Jetmaster Heat & Glo and help us to raise lots of money to help fund research into finding a cure and help MS Australia to provide assistance to those who require their services.
Symptoms may include:
extreme tiredness (fatigue), impaired vision, loss of balance and muscle coordination, slurred speech, tremors, stiffness, bladder and bowel problems, difficulty walking, short-term memory loss, mood swings and, in severe cases, partial or complete paralysis.

MS Australia aims to minimise the impact of multiple sclerosis on all individuals affected by the disease, as well as their families, carers and the community, by offering a wide range of services, equipment and support. MS Australia's goal is to assist everyone affected by MS to live life to their fullest potential and secure the care and support they need, until we ultimately find a cure.
